Why Supernovas is special

Vanessa Yanten

Coach | Colombia - Popayán

Bringing this project to my community completely transformed my life: it gave me back my dream of reconnecting with sports and the conviction to use it as a tool for social change.

David Restrepo

Coach | Colombia - Turbo

Supernovas has allowed me to develop my potential as a coach and leader within my community. It has also improved my quality of life, as it has motivated me to continue my studies; I am currently pursuing a degree in Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports.

Estefanía Belmonte

Coach | Mexico - Tlanepantla

Every day I am grateful to be able to provide, through Supernovas, a safe and joyful space for our children. Amidst difficult realities such as violence and drug addiction in the State of Mexico, Supernovas has become a refuge where children not only play sports, but are accompanied and cared for by coaches, families, and an entire community.

Giovanny Rojas

Coach | Colombia - Usme

Through soccer, I found a profound way to serve my community, work for children and families, and strengthen the social fabric. Supernovas reminds me every day that it's possible to build hope and envision a better future for our children.

Impact cases

Gabriel Guerrero

Chile - Valle Alegre

I went to several paid soccer schools looking for a place where I could learn and practice my passion, but it was at Supernovas Valle Alegre where I found my true home. There, I made friends, gained confidence, and strengthened my self-esteem. Today, I am happy every time it's time to train.

Leidy Torres

Colombia - Silvania

Supernovas has helped me socialize more with my teammates and improve my soccer skills. I have also learned to concentrate better. In addition, I have enjoyed myself and discovered new places, and all of this has benefited my health. I would like the project to continue so that it can help many more children, just as it has helped me.

Keily López

Mexico - Ixtlán de Juárez

Supernovas has changed my life. I used to be shy and struggled at school. Since I started participating in the soccer program, I have gained more confidence, improved my grades, and made new friends. Now I feel happier and more joyful. Thanks to Supernovas, I have discovered my potential and am learning to be more disciplined every day.

Dilan de Jesús Andrade

Colombia - Turbo

My name is Dilan de Jesús Andrade Holguín. Supernovas has been one of the best teams I've ever been on. My teammates treat me very well, and thanks to their support, I've improved a lot. The training sessions have been great, and I've had the opportunity to play a lot with the team and score goals. I want to stay with this great team forever.

Noemy Cruz

Mother of Saúl Álvarez, Mexico - León

For Saúl, Supernovas has been an opportunity to find a place where he can combine discipline and values. Since the project began, Saúl lives each day eagerly awaiting his training time. Each class not only teaches soccer skills, but also values such as empathy, teamwork, and respect for others.

Tatiana Barrios

As the mother of a child with Down syndrome, Supernovas has been the greatest gift to our family. Never before have we had a space in our community where our children could learn and practice a sport in a safe environment, away from bad influences and filled with respect.

Karen Dinamarca

Mother, Chile - Los Ángeles

Soccer has been a blessing in my daughter Martina's life. As a child, she was very shy and had trouble socializing, but at Supernovas she not only learned to play, but also to trust herself.

Judy Ararat Mina

Mother, Colombia - Caloto

Juan Diego is 8 years old and has been part of Supernovas since its inception over a year ago. On the day of his first training session, I was more nervous than he was; I just wanted to see him happy and fulfill his desire to play soccer. Today I understand that on that day he not only started playing a sport, but also began to believe more in himself.

Samuel Morales

Mother, Colombia - Marquetalia

As Samuel Morales' mother, I would like to express my gratitude and pride towards Supernovas for the positive impact it has had on my son. I especially highlight the values it has strengthened in him, such as respect, teamwork, discipline, and the joy that soccer brings him.

Jorge Medina (León - Mexico)

Supernovas is not just a nonprofit where children learn a sport — it’s a space for mutual, continuous learning. I’ve learned from every child through their joy, innocence, and unique way of seeing the world. Here, we disconnect from everything else and simply enjoy the beauty of football, bringing out the best in one another. Supernovas has changed me. I’m no longer a strict coach focused only on discipline — I now see that children’s spontaneity and “crazy moments” are powerful ways of learning.
